What changed

  • Harden Worker output relay and failure handling, including live pipe forwarding, closed downstream streams, and synchronous handler/resolver validation before claim.
  • Make common Server query and configuration failures return stable errors, including large membership filters, timestamp offset bounds, visible-ASCII bearer tokens, and malformed local runtime metadata.
  • Add tested documentation workflows, a runnable local demo, batch and concurrent submission benchmarks, and end-to-end restart, lease-expiry, cancellation, retry, and stale-Worker fencing coverage.
  • Improve release and trusted-publishing automation for the independent Client, Server, and convenience distributions.

All ordinary tests, real single-node torchrun/Accelerate integration, documentation builds, distribution builds, and clean-wheel smoke tests passed for this release.
