v1.52.0
What's new in v1.52.0
This release lands LVal hermetic sealing — a copy-on-write ownership model for interpreter values — along with the optimizations and verification tooling it enables.
Sealing & memory safety
- Introduce hermetic sealing for
LVal: zero-cost sealed stack, seal/copy-on-write semantics, and verification tooling (#517). - Seal
Programtrees at construction, closing the #394 leak (#523). - Raise a catchable condition on writes through sealed values instead of silently copying-on-write (#527).
- Add sealing verification: an
elpsvetescape-aliasing rule, acopybuiltin with CoW census, and corruption fuzz targets (#518).
Performance
- Seal-enabled optimizations and template-environment
Fork(#519). - Share sealed builtin formals templates across environments (#525).
- Remove per-definition throwaway allocations from registration and import (#526).
