    every guild, with a notice in the middle of the screen.
  • TBC presence: an active player announces with one channel message on a

    is no longer used as a filter, and everyone heard is a whisper target.
  • /tcg status shows whisper counters; /tcg roster lists channel members.

  TBC clients block channel addon messages and timer-driven channel chat, so
  presence is whispered to the members of the hidden channel (kept as a roster
  copy so the player's channel selection is restored). New members get a direct
  reply instead of everyone re-announcing, and presence no longer piggybacks on
  chat input.
