Release list
Luxir 0.1.0
Luxir 0.1.0
First release of Luxir, a C++ search engine with HTTP/JSON and gRPC APIs, full-text search, facets and metrics, geo search, and exact or IVF-PQ vector search.
Linux x86-64 binaries require glibc 2.35 or newer. Choose a CPU tier supported by your system; /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 --help reports the supported tiers on glibc systems.
| CPU tier | Direct executable | Archive with docs and licenses | Matching symbols |
|---|---|---|---|
| x86-64-v2 | Download | Archive | Symbols |
| x86-64-v3 | Download | Archive | Symbols |
| x86-64-v4 | Download | Archive | Symbols |
The direct downloads are stripped executables, identical to those in the corresponding archives. No unpacking is needed. For example, download the v2 build directly as luxir and run it from the current directory:
curl -fL https://github.com/luxir-search/luxir/releases/download/v0.1.0/luxir-0.1.0-linux-x86_64-v2 -o luxir
chmod +x luxir
./luxirDiagnostic downloads: v2 debug and v2 ASan. They include debugging information.
Compare sha256sum luxir with the selected asset's entry in SHA256SUMS. Each archive includes licenses, documentation, API definitions, and a build manifest. Extract the matching symbols archive beside the executable package to debug an optimized build.
Start with ./luxir, then open http://localhost:9400/health. See Quickstart and Operations.
