New features:

  • Large file support for CSV: byte-offset index enables instant opening and smooth scrolling for files of any size. Only the visible viewport is loaded into memory.
  • Large file support for Parquet: row-group-level lazy loading with targeted row selection. Jumping to any row (gg/G) is nearly instant regardless of file size.
  • CSV/Parquet files now use lazy backends; Excel remains fully in-memory (no streaming API in calamine).

Internal changes:

  • Introduce RowBackend enum (InMemory / Csv / Parquet) for polymorphic row storage
  • Replace direct .rows access with get_row() / prefetch_range() API
  • 61 tests pass (all 55 original + 6 new)
