Aerospace Window Management Integration

Describe the solution you'd like
Currently, I use Aerospace for window management instead of the native workspaces. AltTab can show the workspace when switching apps/windows—it would be awesome if there was an option to show the Aerospace workspace as well. I'm not sure if that's possible.

Meybe option to show apps only from focus workspace?

Would it be possible to only display windows that would be listed in a configured file?  (so that aerospace or other system would list what they consider the "relevant" windows to switch to)

I think for aerospace the "focused" workspace is not a macos workspace (it is a notion internal to aerospace).

@lwouis any chance this get merged back into alt-tab as aerospace option? Currently alt-tab has a lot of bugs with Aerospace, but would be a great combination considering the preview and customization features of alt-tab.
The main benefit would still be to have a tab switcher that shows windows instead of programs, which fixes one of the most annoying flaws with MacOS.

@itpropro from what i can see here: master...XOR-op:alt-tab-macos:7.24.0-aerospace#diff-39dcbf35d8461748414a52771fd4c3f21d5ae65aace7a204651d976b4c8fd855R5, it seems that this fork makes calls to aerospace to understand its virtual spaces.

I'm afraid we can't have AltTab be integrated so specifically with other apps. I think it would be on aerospace to make their implementation more standard. That is, accessibility apps like AltTab ideally shouldn't know aerospace is running.

I totally understand that, aerospace chose their design, because of the mess that spaces is in MacOS, so their implementation will probably not change.
It would just have been nice to have a good tab switcher available, but I get that specific integrations for tools like display managers is not in the scope of alt-tab.

Man I came here for the very same thing.
I have the Glove80 keyboard with Sunaku's Glorious Engrammer based keymap, and it integrates so well with the Alt-Tab app (hold some key combo that opens alt-tab and then keyboard navigate it like a pro.

The only thing missing is deeper integration with AeroSpace!
Looking forward checking your fork XOR-op.

In terms of how to integrate with external apps; either a generic push or pull system could work, like you could tell for a "Custom" mode that Alt-Tab should make some script call that must return a list of windows to choose from,
or the other way around an external app should be able to call Alt-Tab to say for Custom Mode, these windows should be selectable right now.
