@lwvmobile lwvmobile released this 15 Dec 01:44

This is a Cygwin64 Windows 64-bit precompiled release of 2025-216-gabf2859 as of December 14, 2025.

See any relevant README and .bat files for further information and examples.

This release is in a response to others having some issues compiling the newer version with Cygwin64.

Please Note: This release may or may not function in some Windows 64-bit versions for unknown reasons, and as such, it is still recommended to run the install instructions for Cygwin64 builds found here, but also noting any issues that can arise are found here. This build was with Cygwin64 downloaded on December 14, 2025, using all optional math libraries, and build on Windows 11 Pro 22H2 22621.2792 Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22681.1000.0 if any of that matters in regards to why this may not work in your version of Windows.

Update: A 32-bit version is also now also available, begrudgingly, built with the older Cygwin environment used for previous releases, but including the newer scripts and bat file. Requires a minimum of Windows 7 32-bit, but works as new as Windows 11 24H2. Should be used as a fallback in case the 64-bit version doesn't work.

This is a Cygwin Windows 32-bit precompiled release of DSD-FME AW 2024-245-ge274752 (20240601).

See any relevant README and .bat files for further information and examples.
Special patch versions are also included in the full release.

If any breaking issues arise, visit the issues tab above, or fall back to a previous release.

Also included is the updated dsd-fme.exe compiled for AW 2025-21-g42cb14b (20250212).

Going forward, no more Cygwin 32-bit precompiled/portable zip files will be produced. Users are recommended to see the newly updated and simplified/automated instructions for building new x86-64 builds using Cygwin64. This will allow users to have their own full Cygwin build environment, along with better pulse audio handling, the superior MinTTY terminal, and easily pull and update their versions as soon as new commits come out to have parity with the Linux user experience.
