Breaking Changes

• Call PortableObservationTracking.prepare() once per app process during startup, and await completion before creating mutation observations.
• Minimum OS versions now match the ABIBridge 0.8.0 dependency: iOS and Mac Catalyst 18.4, macOS 15.4, tvOS 18.4, watchOS 11.4, and visionOS 2.4.

New Features

• Added PortableObservationTracking.Token.error to expose the first startup or runtime tracking failure. A failure stops the observation and finishes its value recorders.

Migration Notes

During app startup, prepare the runtime once for the entire app process and await completion:

try await PortableObservationTracking.prepare()

After preparation completes, each screen can start observations as needed:

let token = withPortableContinuousObservation { event in
    render(model, reason: event.kind)
}

withPortableContinuousObservation remains nonthrowing. Initial-only observations using options: [] do not require preparation.
