v0.8.0
brew install lynnswap/tap/privateheaderkitNew Features
- Generate headers and symbol lists from SSH-connected jailbroken iPhones and vphone environments with
--ssh. Select system frameworks, bundles, and dylibs with--target, includingall, and reuse the existing--resumeand--freshworkflows. - Generate Objective-C headers, Swift declarations, and symbol lists from a running application's main executable. Select the application by bundle identifier with
--appor by process ID with--pid. - Save an analysis Mach-O alongside application headers with
--include-binary.Analysis/Executable.machocontains the active architecture's slice, with declared encrypted ranges recovered from the running process, and can be used withprivateheaderkit decompile --binary.
SSH sources require an SSH server, tar, and permission to run the bundled iPhoneOS helper. Application generation also requires permission to inspect the selected process and read its executable. Keep the application running during recovery. Embedded frameworks and extensions are outside this selection.
See the SSH and application generation guide for setup and examples.
Migration Notes
- Generation now reads static metadata by default. Add
--runtime-metadatawhen you need Objective-C classes missing from that metadata. This option loads target images and runs their initializers on macOS, Simulator, and SSH system sources; it is unavailable for application generation.
