StoreTransactionKit v0.1.0

The first stable release of StoreTransactionKit, a Swift package for verified StoreKit 2 transaction handling and observable subscription access.

Requirements: Swift 6.3+; iOS 18.4+, macOS 15.4+, Mac Catalyst 18.4+, tvOS 18.4+, watchOS 11.4+, or visionOS 2.4+.

New Features

  • Define typed subscription catalogs that map App Store Connect products to app-owned entitlements.
  • Use one observable TransactionStore to monitor transactions and subscription-status changes, process purchase results, restore purchases, query history, and shut down after in-flight work completes.
  • Derive feature access from verified subscription status, including active subscriptions and billing grace periods, with distinct loading, failed, ready, and overridden states.
  • Apply durable app-owned effects through delegates before finishing transactions, and receive background-failure notifications with their underlying errors.
  • Choose how to handle subscription products unknown to the installed app: leave them unfinished, finish them, or map them to a known entitlement.
  • Override entitlements for previews and app-defined environments. Use StoreTransactionKitTesting to test purchases and access changes deterministically without a StoreKit configuration.
