XcodeMCPKit v0.17.0

New Features

  • Add XcodeMCPProxyServer.CleanupError, exposing the original failure, cleanup failure, and any bound endpoint when server cleanup is incomplete.

Bug Fixes

  • Fix request scheduling so independent requests in the same session can use idle upstream connections. Apply timeouts to queue waits and correctly cancel queued and active requests.
  • Load all pages of upstream tool catalogs and refresh cached catalogs when tools change. Preserve pagination cursors, including empty strings.
  • Preserve large STDIO messages across read boundaries and report file descriptor acquisition failures as errors instead of crashing.
  • Distinguish string and numeric JSON-RPC request IDs, and reject invalid error codes without crashing.
  • Fail pending requests promptly when upstream stdout closes. Report upstream failures accurately instead of treating unrelated errors as timeouts.
  • Preserve shutdown failures across concurrent and repeated shutdown() calls.
  • Fix --force-restart to identify the proxy currently listening on the requested endpoint, including hostname resolution, instead of relying on stale discovery records.
  • Stage replacement binaries before source installation so preparation failures leave existing executables intact. Report partial installation and cleanup failures.
