• Defer Desktop, Documents, and Downloads workspace inspection until the user explicitly requests a
  rescan, while continuing to discover ordinary Codex workspaces automatically.
• Persist successful repository mappings and inspected workspace roots without overwriting
  concurrent Issue Inbox settings changes.
