Capso now speaks 10 languages, and a long-standing memory leak is fixed. Updating is recommended.

Fixes

  • Each screenshot no longer leaves a full-screen image behind in WindowServer memory. Over days of use this could grow to many gigabytes until Capso quit. (#352, reported in #350)

New

  • Capso is now available in Traditional Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian, alongside English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Spotted a translation that could be better? Please let us know in #346. (#345)
  • Beautify has a None background style, and padding can go down to 0, so screenshots can get just rounded corners (best saved as PNG). (#347)
  • Capso is in the official Homebrew cask repository: brew install --cask capso, no tap needed. (#351)

Thanks to @Joilence for the detailed leak report, @frarredondo for bringing Capso to Homebrew, and @stevebwoody5-9898 for the Beautify feedback!
