Fixed a bug that could cause the editor to become unresponsive when processing horizontal rules (---).

The issue has been resolved and horizontal rules are now handled correctly.

Currently investigating a separate issue where pasted Markdown is not rendered immediately and remains as raw Markdown until the user interacts with the editor.
