Welcome to the first official public release of OptiPath!

This release introduces our core local network optimization engine, designed to eliminate bandwidth contention and stabilize ping for competitive mobile gamers. By acting as an on-device traffic controller, OptiPath prioritizes your gameplay without relying on remote routing servers.

🚀 Key Features
Zero-Overhead Split Tunneling: Selected games completely bypass the local VPN tunnel, routing directly to your physical network interface for maximum speed and zero processing delay.

Smart Background Throttling: Non-gaming background traffic is routed through a local tun0 interface and managed by a custom Global Token Bucket QoS algorithm. Background downloads, syncs, and updates are safely artificially delayed to keep your network card clear for gaming.

Real-Time Network Diagnostics: Monitor your connection health with live ping tracking targeting 1.1.1.1, Wi-Fi signal strength (dBm) indicators, and frequency band congestion alerts (e.g., 2.4 GHz interference warnings).

Session Telemetry & History: Track your average ping, total playtime, and network stability over time.

Offline-First Architecture: Session statistics are saved locally via SQLite and safely synced to the cloud when your connection stabilizes.

⚠️ Known Limitations & Notes
As this is the V1 release, please be aware of the following technical boundaries:

IPv4 Only: The packet parsing engine currently supports IPv4 traffic. IPv6 support is planned for a future update.

Manual Game Launch: To ensure traffic is isolated correctly, target games must be launched directly from the OptiPath dashboard. Automatic background detection is not yet enabled.

VPN Permission: OptiPath requires Android VpnService permissions to create the local traffic-shaping tunnel. Note: Your data is processed 100% locally and is never sent to a remote VPN server.

📥 Installation Instructions
Download the OptiPath-v1.0.0.apk file from the Assets section below.

Open the downloaded file on your Android device.

If prompted, allow your browser or file manager to "Install unknown apps."

Launch OptiPath, sign in, and grant the required VPN permission when prompted.

Since OptiPath is a closed-source engine, this repository acts as our community hub. If you experience crashes, unexpected behavior, or want to request a specific game be added to our configuration list, please open an issue in the tracker.
