The install instructions had the user creating a symblic link to /usr/local/sbin/mount_ntfs while the user is in the recovery filesystem. ntfs-3g isn't installed in the recovery filesystem, so the user need to link to /Volumes/Macintosh HD/usr/local/sbin/mount_ntfs. I just installed it so I'm sure that's the correct command.
