DLSS AiO Swapper 3.0.8 – clearer routes + lecram & ShortFuse together (experimental)
Install it over your current version – games, components and settings stay.
🏷️ Install routes now say what they are
Where: Games → click a game → Installation route
| Route | What runs | When |
|---|---|---|
| Lecram DLSS 5 (RenoDX) – game has DLSS | lecram's add-on (built-in 8.5 or your own imported build) | default for games with DLSS · model A/B switch works |
| Lecram DLSS 5 + Feeder – game has no / incompatible DLSS | lecram + DLSS5-Feeder | games without DLSS |
| ShortFuse DLSS Tool (RenoDX multipass) – with or without game DLSS | ShortFuse's DLSS Tool | 1–10 passes, works without game DLSS too |
| Lecram + ShortFuse together (experimental) – game has DLSS | both | see below |
| OptiScaler DLSS-NR (no ReShade) | OptiScaler | pick it under Rendering backend · menu: Insert |
The game page also shows what is installed right now, e.g. ReShade · Lecram or ReShade · Lecram + ShortFuse.
🧪 Lecram + ShortFuse together (experimental)
A lot of people run both. Normally lecram's add-on steps aside when it sees a second DLSS 5 add-on – this route installs both and sets ForeignNr=observe in ReShade.ini, so both run Neural Rendering on the frame.
- Games → game → Installation route → Lecram + ShortFuse together (experimental) → Install DLSS 5.
- In game press Home: DLSS 5 Neural Rendering = lecram (model A/B works), last tab RenoDX DLSS = ShortFuse. Turn one off there to compare.
- Costs about twice as much as one add-on. If a game misbehaves, switch back to Lecram DLSS 5. Restore removes everything.
Checked in The Witcher 3: both add-ons loaded and both processed every frame.
🔀 Model A/B for OptiScaler (3.0.7)
The DLSS 5 model switch also works on the OptiScaler route now (Preset in OptiScaler.ini). NVIDIA's NGX log in The Witcher 3: A = 5.9 ms, B = 3.4 ms per frame on an RTX 5080 at 1440p.
⚠️ Known issue: NVIDIA driver 621.01
Since driver 621.01, lecram's add-on (8.5 and 10.8) can crash games at start (The Witcher 3 crashed every launch, even with a fresh manual install). 617.42 works. Clean-install 617.42 and turn off automatic driver updates in the NVIDIA App until the add-on is fixed. This is not caused by the app.
Also in 3.0.6
HDR mods per game, extra ReShade add-ons, own add-on import (Components → Own add-on), Update installed DLSS 5 without downgrades, feature request / bug report buttons – see the 3.0.6 notes.

DLSS AiO Swapper 3.0.7 – model A/B for OptiScaler
DLSS AiO Swapper 3.0.7 – model A/B for OptiScaler
🔀 DLSS 5 model A/B now works on the OptiScaler route too
Until now the model switch only reached the RenoDX / Feeder route (NRPreset in ReShade.ini). Games installed with OptiScaler DLSS-NR always ran NVIDIA's default (B). Now the same switch writes OptiScaler's own setting (Preset under [DlssNr] in OptiScaler.ini).
Where: Games → click a game → DLSS 5 model → pick B · new, fast (October) or A · old (September). Close the game first – the model is picked when the game starts. The note under the switch tells you which file it set (ReShade.ini or OptiScaler.ini).
Verified, not guessed – NVIDIA's own NGX log in The Witcher 3 on the OptiScaler route:
| Setting | Model NVIDIA loaded | NR cost per frame (RTX 5080, 1440p) |
|---|---|---|
A (Preset=1) |
CC_Control_…_2026_07_04 (September) |
5.9 ms |
B (Preset=2 / auto) |
hnet-crazy-cuckoo-small-fp8 (October) |
3.4 ms |
So model B costs about 40 % less than A here.
OptiScaler's in-game menu: Insert key. ReShade / RenoDX menu: Home key.

🌈 HDR mods per game (RenoDX) – requested on Reddit
RenoDX HDR mods replace a game's tonemapping, so HDR gets real highlights up to your monitor's peak, deep blacks, detail in bright areas and less banding – often much better than the game's own HDR. Some games get HDR for the first time.
Where: Games → click a game → scroll down to HDR (RenoDX game mod)
- The game needs DLSS 5 installed with ReShade first (Native DLSS (RenoDX) or Feeder route).
- The app looks the game up in RenoDX's official catalogue (240+ games, by Steam ID or name). If there is a mod, you see its name, maintainer and status.
- Click Install HDR mod. The file comes straight from RenoDX's GitHub release and is checked against the SHA-256 published there – anything else is refused.
- In the game: turn HDR on in the game's settings, and Windows Auto HDR / RTX HDR off.
- Press Home in game → RenoDX tab → set Peak brightness to your monitor's value.
Notes: mods made for another graphics API are flagged (e.g. the RDR2 mod needs Vulkan). You need an HDR monitor – it shines on OLED / Mini-LED.
➕ Extra ReShade add-ons per game
Where: same section on the game page → Extra ReShade add-ons → Add add-on…
Pick any .addon64 / .addon32 you trust (ShaderToggler etc.). It is scanned by Microsoft Defender and must match the game's bitness.
HDR mods and extra add-ons are recorded in the game's backup: Restore removes them too. Files you placed by hand are never touched (shown as already there).
🧩 Own DLSS 5 add-on (e.g. a purchased lecram build)
Newer RenoDX DLSS 5 add-ons are often paid builds (lecram on Buy Me a Coffee, ShortFuse on Patreon). The app never downloads or shares them – but if you bought one:
Where: Components → scroll to the bottom → Own add-on → Import add-on…
- Pick the
.zipyou downloaded or therenodx-dlss5.addon64/renodx-dlss.addon64inside it. - It is checked (64-bit ReShade add-on, correct name), scanned by Microsoft Defender and copied into the app – you can delete the download afterwards.
- From now on every install uses your build. Switch back any time with Use built-in again.
- Put it into all your games: Games → Update installed DLSS 5 (n games) (button next to Rescan).
The model A/B switch keeps working with lecram 10.8.
🔄 "Update installed DLSS 5" – fixed
The button now only replaces files the app put there itself (its built-in builds or your imported own add-on). A newer build you dropped in by hand is never downgraded. The NR model is only ever replaced by a newer version.

DLSS AiO Swapper 3.0.5
DLSS AiO Swapper 3.0.5
- RenoDX DLSS5 8.5 (lecram's generic DLSS 5 add-on, built on ShortFuse's RenoDX): new Look controls (colour, tone, detail, halo, shadows/highlights), detail stability, up to four passes with their own settings, crash containment and a German/multi-language menu (Home key). Pinned by SHA-256 – the archive must match the digest GitHub publishes for it, and the add-on file its own hash. The model A/B switch keeps working. Note: 8.5.0-rc10 is a release candidate.
- Update installed DLSS 5: after a component update, a button in the Games tab swaps the new files into every game where DLSS 5 is already installed – only there, nothing is installed into other games. Only files the app put there are replaced, your settings stay, running games are skipped. The button only appears when something needs updating.
- Components glow: when a component update is waiting, Components in the sidebar glows and shows how many.
How to update: install 3.0.5 over your current version → Components tab → download the updated RenoDX add-on → Games tab → Update installed DLSS 5.

- Play button: start a game right from the app – on every game card (hover the cover) and next to the title on the game page. Steam and Epic games are started through their launcher, everything else through its own exe. Nothing is installed or changed by this.
- Update banner: a new version is now shown as a clear banner at the top of the window with a download button (before, it was only a small link on the About page). "Later" hides it for that version only.
- Includes the 3.0.3 security check: the ReShade setup's SHA-256 is verified right before it runs.
