Highlights

  • Added automatic API discovery for every served built-in resource, API version, and third-party CRD.
  • Added one universal repository with CRUD, selectors, watch, version overrides, arbitrary subresources, logs, exec, debug, and proxy support.
  • Preserved existing client method usage and typed model collections.
  • Added runnable examples for legacy aliases, discovered resources, CRDs, and subresources.

Compatibility and reliability

  • Tested with PHP 7.4 through 8.5 and Kubernetes v1.37.0.
  • Fixed pod exec upgrades, resource watching, direct JSON/YAML model construction, and typed collection mapping.
  • Fixed insecure TLS fallback for kubeconfigs without CA data.
  • Updated vulnerable dependencies and restored automated testing with GitHub Actions.
  • Added scripts for provisioning and exercising a real single-node Kubernetes cluster.

Migration note

The per-kind repository classes have been replaced by the universal repository. Existing calls such as $client->pods() and $client->deployments() remain compatible. Applications that directly import or subclass an old repository class should use DynamicRepository or register a custom repository.
