Summary

Improves Parakeet dictation reliability and fixes a bug that could drop the tail of a long dictation.

What’s Included in v1.0.9

  • Improved Parakeet final-chunk handling so short trailing words are less likely to be dropped at the end of a dictation.
  • Added overlap-aware token merging for Parakeet decoding so rescued tail context can replace incomplete final output cleanly.
  • Removed synthetic transcription silence padding from macOS recorder output.
  • Removed recorder stop-delay handling while still draining queued capture work before final transcription.
  • Reduced cases where padded capture duration could interfere with short-utterance and no-speech decisions.
