Bug fixes

  • Rename dialog closed on its own while adding a switch (#76, thanks @FredrikM97): selecting the name with the mouse and releasing the button outside the dialog made Chrome deliver the click to the backdrop, which our dialog treated as "click outside = close". Only a click that also starts on the backdrop closes a dialog now.
  • Cancel while adding a switch now cancels (#76): Cancel/close in the rename step goes back to the overview instead of moving on to the identifier dialog, and cancelling the identifier step of a new switch does the same (it cannot be saved without one). Rename and Identifier from the menu behave as before.
  • Identifier dialog explains why it is back: when Save is pressed without an identifier (required since #71), the dialog now says so instead of looking like a loop. A first version of this hint also showed when opening the dialog from the menu; fixed.
  • Dialogs report closing to HA's dialog manager: HA's dialog stack and history no longer grow with every dialog we open, so HA navigation or a back gesture doesn't close our dialogs unexpectedly.
  • Console error Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'external') on HA 2026.8 (and 'component_name' on 2026.9): the helper that loads HA's editor components ran HA's async route update on a throw-away element. It now asks for the route table directly. Harmless apart from the noise, but gone.

After updating, reload the HA page once (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+R) so the browser picks up the new panel code.
