MHL Verify 2.6.0

MHL Verify 2.6.0 - app only. mhl-tool stays at 2.5.1.

Compare now picks Side A and Side B separately, so two MHL files on different volumes can be compared at all. Before this, one open panel had to return both files, which meant they had to sit in the same folder - and the pair you actually compare is a source manifest on one disk and its copy on the archive. Choose, drop, or pick from recents on each side; each side shows its volume, file count and size before you compare.

Compare also reports a verdict rather than calling expected differences failures:

Hash times no longer count as content. Two copies of the same card used to report every file as Changed while the sizes and hashes shown were identical, because the file identity test included the hash timestamp. Two manifests are never written at the same instant.

A destination-sorted copy now lines up with its pre-sort source. Files were matched by full path, so a sorted destination shared no path with its source and every file came back as both added and removed. They are now matched by name, size and hash and reported as Moved.

Requires macOS 14 or later. Universal, signed and notarized.
