P5 Search Jumper 0.2.1-beta (build 4)
This beta connects P5 Search Jumper to the first shared P5Kit REST and evidence
foundation and refines the tested search-to-restore workflow.
New in this beta
- P5 restore, exact-entry lookup, job parsing, redaction, and API-log events now
use the shared P5Kit implementation. - The Restore folder defaults to the missing file's original parent directory,
returning it to its prior path by default. A different folder can still be
selected for relocation. - The restore sheet stays open while P5 runs, disables cancellation during the
active request, refreshes the app after verified file arrival, and dismisses
automatically on success. - Localhost restores refuse to overwrite a file that already exists at the
destination.
Requirements and current boundaries
- macOS 13 or newer.
- Jumper must be running locally, with a valid license for authenticated search
endpoints. - Archiware P5 REST access is required for archive lookup and restore.
- The selected Restore folder must already exist and be writable by the P5
service. - The app reconciles P5 job success with restored-file existence. Independent
checksum comparison remains part of the CLI/evidence workflow rather than the
current app UI.
