10.22.0 - 2026-10-13
Ghostex 10.22.0 is out. A Files and links card lists everything a session mentioned, the Kanban board scrolls with a mouse and opens in a window of its own, the Work panel shows formatted Markdown, and Ghostex has a new app icon.
💬 Chat
- Files and links: a link button in the chat box's toolbar opens a card listing every attachment, file and link the session mentioned, with a filter and counts; each row opens its item or jumps to the message that mentioned it. For an orchestrator it covers its own chat and every thread, grouped by thread. On the computer, the web and the phone.
- Catch me up shows only while the chat box is empty, fades in and out, and reads the last 30 agent messages.
- A tool group's line is the same thin hairline as the Worked fold's.
- macOS: Cmd+V pastes into the chat box again instead of into the terminal behind the chat, thanks to @banozz0.
🗂️ Kanban
- The board scrolls sideways with a mouse: drag the bar under the lanes or use Shift+wheel, each lane has its own scrollbar, and dragging a card to the board's edge scrolls the board, thanks to @landygg.
- Open in New Window moves the board to a window of its own, for a second screen; the panel shows Show Window and Bring Back, and the window follows the project you switch to, thanks to @landygg.
🧩 Work Mode
- The Work panel shows Markdown: ticket descriptions and comments, Slack messages and pull request bodies show headings, lists, checklists, tables, code and links.
- Video comes right after PR in the team flow, and "Working thread" is now an optional "Slack thread" step: an optional step shows a grey "?" until it's done. Mark any step optional in Settings > Workspaces > Team-flow steps; a team's owner runs
ghostex team deployonce so the team can save it. - A session card shows its ticket's new pull request within moments of it being opened, instead of minutes later.
🌸 App icon
- A new seven-petal app icon on the computer and the phone.
🩹 Fixes and polish
- macOS: the sidebar button sits further from the window buttons, thanks to @TheOrcDev.
- An account is no longer marked disabled because a CLI started by hand in a session's terminal was refused on a different login.
Windows beta packages are not Authenticode-signed and may show a SmartScreen warning.
