Cloudlog v2.8.19 is now available! This update introduces map visual enhancements, performance optimisations on the main dashboard, richer rich-text notes support, and key logbook distance calculation fixes.
🚀 What's New & Enhancements
- Summernote Notes Editor: Upgraded the station/QSO Notes field to Summernote, providing a larger, full-width rich-text editor with proper table support. Notes now render correctly without showing raw HTML tags.
- Maidenhead Grid Lines on Maps: QSO maps now draw dashed Maidenhead grid outlines to give better visual context when viewing logged contacts.
- Dashboard Performance Boost: Cut out duplicate database queries across the dashboard by caching common options and skipping unnecessary lookups on page load.
- Debug Info Copy Button: Added a handy "Copy as Markdown" button to the Debug Information page to make pasting system details into GitHub issues much easier.
- WAB Award Leaflet Loading: Added proper asset loading on Work All Britain (WAB) award views so Leaflet maps render consistently alongside other map-based awards.
- Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR) Translations: Updated and corrected pt-BR localisation strings, including typos in grid square language files (thanks @AlanFarley!).
🛰️ Logbook & Propagation Fixes
- Distance & QRB Calculation Fixes: Resolved an issue where logbook distances failed to honour selected measurement units (km/mi). Missing QRBs now automatically fill using grid locator or DXCC coordinates where available.
- EME Propagation Mode Retention: EME mode now stays selected between consecutive QSOs and correctly counts towards band DXCC totals.
- LoTW Sent Status & List Menus: Preserved LoTW "Sent" status across edits unless core QSO identity fields change. Restored list action dropdown menus automatically after saving changes.
