Quick Setup Required: To unlock live status indicators and reporting features, create an account at oscarwatch.org, generate an API token on your profile page at oscarwatch.org/settings/profile, and paste it into Settings -> Integrations -> OscarWatch inside the app.
Live Status Overlay Chips and Pass Indicators Once connected, real-time operational status reports (such as active transponder modes or telemetry-only states) appear directly via overlay chips and dot indicators in your pass lists. The system polls for status updates every 5 minutes in the background, keeping data fresh without waiting for cache expiry.
Crowdsourced Status Reporting to OscarWatch.org Contribute back to the satellite community by reporting live transponder states directly from the frequency overlay panel (On, Off, or Telemetry only), or set OscarWatch to post an "On" report automatically whenever you log a live QSO.
Elevation Gating for Status Reports To keep status reports accurate and avoid false entries from non-hearing stations, reporting options are automatically gated so you can only submit operational updates when the satellite is above -1° elevation.

Per-Station Horizon Skyline Masks Added custom Azimuth/Elevation horizon mask support for your station. You can now define your local obstruction skyline (such as trees, chimneys, or hills) in Settings or the Pass Planner. OscarWatch uses your mask to tailor pass prediction schedules and radar polar plots around your actual local line-of-sight horizon.
Detachable Pass Elevation Timeline The pass elevation mountain chart below the world map can now be undocked into a floating, resizable desktop window. Closing the window automatically redocks it back into the main layout, and your window position preferences are saved across restarts.

SDR Passband Capture Fix for Dual-Radio Setups Resolved an issue where transmit-side Doppler writes were unintentionally resetting the receive dial's "settled" timer window. This ensures that tuning your downlink VFO on an SDR or secondary receiver instantly applies your intended Normal or Reverse passband trim to the transmitter.
Live SmartSDR Antenna Port Querying FlexRadio operators can now query live antenna port selections directly from connected SmartSDR radios via an ant list query inside Settings. This includes full support for dual transverter port identifiers (XVTA / XVTB), while maintaining fallback profiles for offline setups.
Rotator Position Tracking Sync Fixed a stale position reporting bug where rotator azimuth and elevation readings failed to update immediately after a manual positioning command.

USB-to-Serial CAT Interface Guidance Updated the radio connection documentation with practical advice regarding USB-to-serial chips, warning against problematic counterfeit Prolific adapters and cheap CH340 leads while highlighting genuine FTDI chipsets and built-in radio USB ports for reliable CAT operations.
