OscarWatch Tracker v1.0.5
OscarWatch Tracker v1.0.5 is now available! This release brings expanded radio support, native network rotator control, automatic callsign lookups for your logbook, and brand new language localisations.
🚀 What's New & Enhancements
- Callbook Lookups for Logbook Names: OscarWatch Logbook now automatically fetches operator names from QRZ and HamQTH. To keep things clean, it extracts just the operator's first name or nickname rather than pasting in their full legal name.
- SPID Rotator Network Control: Added native TCP support for SPID MD-01 and MD-02 controllers operating over the network (port 23).
- ICOM IC-7100 Dual-Radio Support: The IC-7100 can now be selected as a dual-radio CI-V leg across HF, 2 m, and 70 cm setups.
- New Language Localisations: Added German, Russian, Indonesian, and Thai UI translations to help non-English speaking operators use OscarWatch.
- Documentation & Setup Guides: Updated the troubleshooting documentation with better setup guidance for serial ports (including notes for Arch Linux users thanks to @alexjj) and IC-705 settings.
🛰️ Fixes & UI Tweaks
- Sky Plot Rotator Target Fix: Fixed an issue where the rotator marker on the sky plot would jump straight to the newly commanded azimuth instantly instead of tracking actual heading feedback.
- Upcoming Pass List Stability: Prevented the upcoming pass list from jumping around or changing scroll position when selecting lower rows in the view.
- Cloudlog URL Formatting: Entering a lone slash in the Cloudlog server URL setting no longer causes path normalisation to break or generate invalid address prefixes.
