@galibert, FYI, commit d0f1c15 breaks apple2 sound. (mame apple2e is sufficient to hear the boot beep garbled).

@galibert just rewrote the sound output infrastructure. Can people hold off a bit on opening separate issues for every system that regressed?

@colinleroy we didn't try to offence, sorry. We apprechiate detailed reports.

Just in the current situation pollution of reported issues, when the feature just came in, creates unproductive noise.
A bunch of reports can be closed with a simple fix globally, but require time for reports cleanup and postesting.
The best we can behave in the current situation, just hold on a bit on reports and revalidate them in a week when the feature is stabilized.
