AXIOM v0.3.0-beta.4 — Release Notes

Prerelease: verify the release page and workflow before assuming downloadable assets are available.

Beta.4 focuses on making existing AXIOM capabilities easier to discover, diagnose, validate, and support. It does not claim that every roadmap item is complete or introduce a hosted AXIOM service.

Highlights

Module Explorer

A searchable Control Center index helps users find GUI pages, CLI command families, and API capabilities. Entries route to existing GUI pages or clearly identify CLI-only capabilities. The explorer is a discovery surface—not a claim that every planned feature exists or can run in the browser.

Workspace diagnostics

The GUI and CLI share read-only workspace checks for workspace discovery, axiom.yaml parsing, unsafe symlink entries, filesystem read/write access, free disk space, Python compatibility, and required package imports.

axiom doctor --json
axiom status --json

Roadmap audit

The roadmap audit reads the scoped 120-item section of ROADMAP.md, validates expected IDs and statuses, and surfaces duplicates, missing entries, unexpected IDs, and unknown statuses. It does not rewrite status labels or infer completion merely from the existence of source files.

axiom roadmap audit --json

Support bundles

Create a minimized diagnostic archive for review before sharing:

axiom support-bundle --output ./axiom-support-bundle.zip

Use --force only when intentionally replacing an existing output file. The documented archive includes diagnostics.json, environment.json, and a static README.txt; it excludes configuration contents, environment-variable values, credentials, absolute paths, model weights, datasets, logs, experiment records, and user-authored data. Metadata minimization is not a guarantee of anonymity, so inspect the archive first.

Read-only API Playground

The API Playground uses a fixed GET-only allowlist, timeouts, bounded response reads, and capped response previews. It is not a general client for arbitrary URLs or state-changing requests.

Workflow design improvements

Saved workflow design tooling adds templates, versioned saves, duplication, revision history, structural validation, and dry-run resource estimates. These make intended steps easier to organize and review; they do not execute the workflow.

Control Center and diagnostics polish

Beta.4 improves local page navigation, remembered administrator-session behavior, request/error diagnostics, and discoverability across CLI, API, and GUI surfaces.

Changed behavior and scope boundaries

  • Workflow validation and dry-run estimates do not execute training.
  • Evaluation scores precomputed predictions; it does not execute model inference.
  • Runtime discovery reports locally detected candidates and readiness evidence; it does not imply a runtime is connected.
  • Support bundles minimize diagnostic information but must still be reviewed before sharing.
  • No hosted workspace or cloud inference service is introduced by this release.

Verification and packages

The release page is the source of truth for package files and checksums. A tag or passing documentation check alone is not proof that every platform package was published successfully.
