Hi,

The traceback points to get_exif.py line 188:

if platform == "iOS" or "iPhone" in platform:

This fails when platform is None — the in operator requires a string, not None. The fix is to guard for it:

if platform == "iOS" or (platform and "iPhone" in platform):

I have confirmed this line is still present in the current codebase. This is on v1.0.4 of MapSyncer — upgrading to the latest version may also resolve it if a fix has since been applied.
