This is a patch for this issue in Sujimichi/KXAPI that renders the game unplayable when the API requests returns a 503 error.

This fix adds an additional close button to the error windows that KXAPI uses from KatLib allowing you to close them regardless of length.

Why not fix the actual issue in KXAPI? Modifying that mod requires API credentials/permission from the KerbalX team who I believe are no longer active in the community as the latest update I could find from them was in 2022, ergo, I don't think a proper fix is coming anytime soon without rewriting the entire KerbalX codebase (and I'm not doing that, I'm not skilled enough to do so even if I wanted to).

Download the included ZIP file and follow the included install instructions, otherwise, download the included KatLib.dll file and replace GameData/KXAPI/Plugins/KatLib.dll with it.

Is this an amazing fix? No. But it does seem to work well enough to at least retain the ability to play the game without having to disable the KerbalX integration entirely whenever the site is down.
