scry 3.3.0 organises your decks into folders, keeps the comprehensive rules up to date, and reports its own version.

Added

  • The decks panel is a folder tree. Local decks group into folders by the folder part of their name (aggro/mono-red); enter folds and unfolds them. The Moxfield decks and people you follow sit under one moxfield folder. A filter still spans the whole tree, so a match never hides inside a folder you've shut.
    • Move decks between folders: y yanks a deck (to copy), x cuts it (to move), and p puts it into the folder you're on — the staged deck shows in the subtitle until you place it. A moved deck's name follows it into its new folder, and its git history follows the file.
    • New decks land in the folder you're on; name one into a folder (aggro/mono red) to make the folder.
  • Keep the comprehensive rules current. s in the rules panel checks the rules page for a newer release and, when there is one, downloads and re-parses it — keeping the version it replaced so the two can be compared. If the link can't be found, it points you at a manual download.
  • Diff two rules releases. gv in the rules panel lists the rules that changed and shows each one's before/after in the information panel, opened on the rule you were reading.
  • scry --version (-v) prints the version.

Changed

  • A deck's header counts cards, not rows — a row of 20 lands now counts as 20. Search results are unchanged, since each row there is a single card.
  • The statistics tag histogram gains an "untagged" bar for the remainder, shown only once something is tagged, and sitting below every real tag.
  • Add-and-tag moves from T to A — beside a for add, since it's an add that also tags. T is now unbound.
  • Delete in the decks panel moves from x to d, since x is now cut.

Install

Download the binary for your platform below, make it executable, and put it on your PATH. See the README for per-OS steps (macOS needs xattr -d com.apple.quarantine).
