Performance improvements:
- On a network share, the next file's preview no longer waits for the previous file to finish loading.
- A file shown in both the Finder preview pane and the Quick Look window is loaded only once.
- Closing a preview stops loading or decompressing almost immediately.
- MRtrix
.mifmasks open noticeably faster. - With thumbnails enabled, files over 100 MB that would need a full read keep the standard icon instead of slowing down Finder.
Fixes:
- 64-bit integer images (int64/uint64) in NIfTI, MIF and NRRD now display instead of failing.
- Improvbed mask detection (some masks rendered as greyscale)
- If loading all volumes of a 4D file fails, the Volumes line now says so.
- Fixed a 1.5.1 regression that could distort volumes with extremely small voxel sizes.
- Images with very small intensity values (e.g. ADC maps in SI units) display with better contrast.
- The other views no longer show outdated images when scrolling right after adjusting window/level or loading a 4D file's volumes.
