v2.150.1
Fix: ShellCheck memory explosion from language server (GH#2915)
The bash language server hardcodes --external-sources in every ShellCheck invocation. With 463+ cross-sourcing scripts, this caused exponential AST expansion — 11+ GB RAM, kernel panics, and system crashes.
Three-layer fix
shellcheck-wrapper.sh— strips--external-sourcesfrom args, enforces ulimit (root cause fix).shellcheckrc—external-sources=falsefor direct file invocations (secondary defense)memory-pressure-monitor.shv1.1.0 — auto-kills ShellCheck at >4GB RSS or >10min runtime (safety net)
Deployment
Runs automatically via setup.sh / aidevops update. Sets SHELLCHECK_PATH env var across all shells (zsh, bash) and macOS GUI processes (launchctl).
