Bug Fixes
The workflow guard now reports a session that has not started a guarded workflow as inactive / no-active-epoch, reserving unavailable for genuine failures. This prevents agents checking status first from treating an idle session as terminal and skipping completion enforcement. Status calls no longer poison fresh-session initialization or discard pending sibling operations, and completion before a workflow starts returns a guard-owned rejection rather than an error. Unavailable status also exposes a bounded diagnostic cause, while failed history reads continue to fail closed. See #1079.
Documentation
The architecture guide now explains the optional arguments parameter on systematic_skill: supplied arguments replace $ARGUMENTS and positional $N placeholders, or are appended when the skill has no placeholders. This documents how callers pass task-specific input into loaded skills. See #1078.
