Glassy

A simple Android app for viewing content on XR glasses, with support for a non-standard IPD (interpupillary distance). It handles both PDF files and videos, and lets you adjust the IPD as a percentage of the glasses' default.

I built this app because my eyes' IPD falls outside the adjustment range of my Viture Luma XR glasses. Even at the minimum setting, text was very hard to read — and often appeared double.

To use the app, set the glasses to "SBS" mode, in which they emulate a very wide screen (3840 x 1080) with each half projected to a single eye. The "adjust" buttons then zoom and shift the two images, making them appear nearer or farther away to compensate for the difference between your IPD and the glasses' IPD (Viture Luma XR glasses are 64 mm, as far as I know).
