v1.2.1
v1.2.1
- Fixed: after picking a different notes folder, the widget kept showing the old folder until you
refreshed it by hand or the next periodic update came. It now redraws right away. Thanks to the
Reddit user who reported it

v1.2.0
- Extra notes: add single Markdown files from anywhere on your device, one at a time, and they
show on the widget next to the notes from your folder. Settings → Extra Notes → Add File - Removing an extra note, by swiping either way or with its remove button, only takes it off the
widget. The file stays where it is - A file that is already in your notes folder, or is not a
.mdfile, is refused with a message - Play build only: after five days the app may ask Google Play to show its rating dialog, at most
every 90 days, and settings have a "Rate on Google Play" link. The foss build has neither

v1.1.0
v1.1.0
- New notes are created directly in the selected folder instead of being asked of Obsidian — a
note could previously land in the vault root when the vault couldn't be located, reported on
Reddit and reproduced by granting access to a subfolder only - Choose how a tapped note opens: Obsidian, the device's default Markdown app, or ask every time
- Fixed: deleting a note that no longer existed (e.g. removed some other way) kept failing with
the same error on every retry instead of just disappearing from the list - Fixed: swiping a note to delete it could remove the wrong file after the list changed
- Fixed: the widget could stop redrawing after its first refresh until something restarted the
app process — refresh now reliably shows the current state, with a small spinner while it loads - Widget refresh diagnostics are logged under one filterable tag for easier bug reports
Two builds: foss has no INTERNET permission, play adds analytics and crash reporting that can
be switched off. Take foss unless you want to send crash reports.
Updates are not instant — Android decides when to tell the widget a folder changed. See Limitations
in the README.

v1.0.0
First public release.
- Two widgets over a folder you pick: note cards with a Markdown preview, or a compact list of names
- Sync chip reading the vault's
.git: last pull or commit, a stuck merge, an unpushed branch - Not on git? Say so in settings and the chip falls back to when a note last changed
- Choose how long silence has to last before the chip turns amber
- Per-note height, text size and colour; drag to reorder; swipe a card aside to delete the file
- Fast note appends a line to a chosen file
- Tapping a note opens it in Obsidian
- Czech, German, Spanish, French, Chinese and Japanese
- Light and dark, forced or left to the system
