File Secure Suite 2.0.1 — security hardening
Password-protected private keys are now stored with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 at 600,000 iterations (AES-256-CBC, standard PKCS#8), the same work factor already used for encrypted files and texts. Version 2.0.0 relied on the cryptography library default of 2,048 iterations.
Nothing else changes: files and texts encrypted with 2.0.0 open with 2.0.1 and vice versa, and keys created with 2.0.0 keep working. To give an existing key the stronger protection (same key, same fingerprint), see DOCUMENTATION.md, section 9.3.
