  • PromptPad.exe — self-contained, no .NET installation needed (first launch extracts runtime, ~5 sec one-time delay)

Quick Start

  1. Download PromptPad.exe below
  2. Place it in a folder (e.g., C:\Tools\)
  3. Set as your editor: setx EDITOR "C:\Tools\PromptPad.exe"
  4. Open a new terminal — any tool that uses $EDITOR will now open PromptPad
