New
- Snapping in Arrange mode: geeklets click into place beside each other (with the Tidy Up gap), line up edges and centers, and stop at the screen margin, with dashed guide lines. Hold Command to turn it off for a drag. Choose what it snaps to in Settings, Arranging.
- Smoother dragging and resizing: the window now follows the pointer directly and saves once on release.
- Weather now shows your place name, current conditions, and a three-day forecast, in your Mac's units. Existing Weather geeklets are updated automatically.
- Shell commands and scripts can read your saved location from GEEKLET_PLACE, GEEKLET_LAT, GEEKLET_LON and GEEKLET_RADAR.
Improved
- A geeklet's type is fixed when it is created, so switching types no longer produces confusing errors. Snippets can only replace geeklets of the same type.
- The Snippets window title matches the rest of the app.
Requires macOS 14 or later. Apple silicon and Intel.
