Check if there is data for the configured vehicle...
Initial Startup Phase enhancements
Well to be honest, I don't really want to call this an enhancement, but looks like that checking Home Assistant System Logs (/config/logs) for possible errors when something in your HA instance does not behave as expected, might be already expecting too much from a user.
So with the new release, the integration will check during startup if there are essential information for your vehicle could be read from the backend (e.g. the metrics) and if this is not the case, then the integration will not be started.
Normally in such a situation the integration will report issues on the log level error (or at least warning). So you don't even have to enable the debug log in oder to find information what could probably be the root cause of the problem. It's quite likely that the FordPass account you have configured has lost access to the vehicle data.
Or there might be some additional/new consent that is not granted (yet). This can be solved by logging into FordPass App or the Ford website with this account in order to verify if there are any additional popups (Of course all the same also apply for Lincoln).
Also an alternative possibility for such a situation could be, that you have configured a false region when you have setup/configured the integration.
Please consider supporting me
Thanks to those who have already supported me in the past weeks or month that is highly appreciated! To the other users: I am putting quite an amount of energy and passion into this integration. Perhaps you could give yourself a little push (if you can afford it) and become a sponsor.
If you haven't starred this integration in Github yet - please do so - TIA
