Ship the small one, but choose the scope by what is hard to change later. Data model, units, and rounding rules are expensive to revise once real data exists, so get those right in v1. Features, UI, and breadth are cheap to add and should be deferred. The useful question is not "how small" but "which decisions am I locking in". |
