Modded Firmware from Video

WARNING! This is ONLY for the Audi A1 version of the screen as shown in the original video. Triple check that this applies to you, I am NOT responsible if you brick your device!

With that out of the way, it's probably going to be fine, download this, unzip it, place the GEMINI_PACK.BIN and ISPBOOOT.BIN files at the root directory of a FAT32 formatted USB (8GB or below, it doesn't support anything above 8GB). It might also need to be a 2.0 USB stick, 3.0 might work, I haven't tested it.

The changes of this modified software update are:

• Changed "Car Home" label to "Audi MMI"
• Changed the original CarPlay icon to go back to the OS from an arrow inside a rectangle, into the custom Audi logo
• Disabled the non-working rotary controls. Originally it's Touchscreen + Rotary, this update is Touchscreen only

The source software update is "QD513-QD515-AUDI-incell-S7-QA-2026.02.05-v2.0.65", so relatively recent at the time of upload.

If you want to change anything, download the repo, use the "firmware_tools" to extract this file, edit your logos etc. then repack it and flash it. If in any doubt, let Claude/Codex figure it out 😁 Good luck!
