Known limitations over our existing Arduino-esp32 Firmware:

  • No Bluetooth support, the configuration must be defined before compilation like described in Section 1
  • Supports only uncompressed BMP formats, bit depth 1,4 or 8 (Not planning to add >8 bit depth support)
  • It needs more testing and probably more optimizations

Advantages: This version is much faster and it's using our own epaper component CalEPD so it's much more configurable and optimization friendly.
