v1.8.0 - Custom paths, PROXY protocol & a more robust startup
First of all, thanks for the issues and PRs over the last weeks. Almost everything here came directly from them. This rolls up what landed across the 1.7.x patches.
New:
- Serve HTTP(S) services below a custom path with
docktail.service.path(#85) - PROXY protocol for TCP services, so your backend sees the real tailnet client address (#80)
- DockTail now recovers from a stale tailscaled socket and defines Services before advertising them (#76)
Fixed:
- TLS termination for private TCP services (#74)
- Tailscale service host node IDs are decoded correctly
- A clearer error when rootless Docker is denied serve config (#79)
The website also moved into its own repository. The docs stay here next to the code.
