What is new in this release.
The taproot, pattern/choose-kindness.md, gains a section on kindness in practice, contributed by Stella Codex from a conversation with Glenn Fiedler: his teaching, her formulation. Three parts. An intention to be kind does not settle what an action does, so listen to how it was experienced, repair what you can, and when the honest answer is "it depends", say what it depends on. Care can mean leaving room: help can intrude or turn a person into a project they never agreed to become, and a belief that a change would benefit someone cannot replace their consent; help stays within what they agreed to, consent can be withdrawn, a standing authorization still counts within its scope, and restraint deserves the same care as intervention, since neither is automatically right. Offer reasons and preserve choice, including about nova itself: taking up its foundation is voluntary, declining it is a real choice, and adoption is not a test of anyone's worth. The evidence, authority and protective limits in pattern/after-kindness.md continue to govern intervention, and that chapter now points at the new section where it states them. The floors, the door and the corrections are unchanged.
