Bitaxe Fleet v0.1.1
Bitaxe Fleet v0.1.1 adds miner customization, richer device inspection, and privacy controls for sharing screenshots.
Miner customization
- Manually label each miner as BTC, BCH, or DGB (SHA-256d), or leave it unassigned. Coin labels do not change mining configuration or automatically detect the coin.
- Choose a preset icon independently of the coin label, or upload a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image up to 5 MB. Images are center-cropped to a 128 × 128 PNG, with preview and reset controls.
- Coin and icon preferences are stored with the fleet and appear beside the miner name in the device table and Inspect modal.
Expanded Inspect modal
- Hashrate, chip temperature, and power charts with shared 1h, 6h, and 24h windows. Missing and offline readings remain gaps.
- Best Difficulty since the miner last booted, using AxeOS's session value. The fleet table continues to show the all-time best.
- Uptime at the latest observation.
- Stratum host, port, and user/worker together. Connection details follow AxeOS's reported primary/fallback selection; firmware without this information is labelled unconfirmed.
- Clear reasons for high-temperature, zero-hashrate, offline, stale, and awaiting-data statuses.
- Four metric cards on desktop and a 2 × 2 layout on mobile.
Temperature preferences
Choose Settings → Temperature → °C / °F to change Inspect readings and temperature charts. The choice applies immediately and is remembered in the browser.
Screenshot privacy
- Eye buttons beside sensitive values hide or reveal individual miner names, IP addresses, Stratum hosts/ports, and worker or wallet strings.
- A top-bar Screenshot privacy toggle hides sensitive values across views, anonymizes miner names in chart legends and tooltips, and hides custom images and connection details.
- Global privacy mode locks individual reveal controls until it is switched off, then restores previous per-field choices.
- Preferences persist across reloads and synchronize between tabs in the same browser.
Privacy controls mask the display for screenshots; stored data and API responses remain unchanged.
Community feedback
Structured GitHub issue forms are available for bug reports, compatibility reports, and feature requests.
Upgrading
Back up your SQLite data, update the source, rebuild, and restart both the API and collector. With Docker Compose, use docker compose up -d --build with the existing project and data volume. Automatic schema migrations preserve registered miners and history. New connection and session-difficulty fields appear as fresh readings are collected.
See the README for installation and upgrade details.
Bitaxe Gamma 601 remains the only maintainer-tested board. Coin presets do not expand hardware or firmware compatibility. Miner configuration, pools, restarts, and firmware controls remain in AxeOS.
Validation
All 35 tests passed. GitHub Actions passed on Node.js 22 and 24, including formatting, type checks, production builds, dependency checks, secret scanning, and Docker Compose startup verification. Desktop/mobile browser checks covered customization, Inspect charts, temperature preferences, and screenshot privacy.

Bitaxe Fleet v0.1.0
First public release of Bitaxe Fleet: an independent, open-source monitoring dashboard for Bitaxe miners running AxeOS.
Included
- Fleet overview with connection health, hashrate, power, temperature, efficiency and all-time best difficulty.
- Historical charts, device inspection, friendly names and configurable collection intervals.
- Light and dark themes.
- Read-only demo fleet with six fictional miners and simulated trends, plus a guided first-fleet setup.
- Docker Compose and native Node.js installation, with SQLite storage and background collection.
Get started
See the README for installation instructions and a dashboard screenshot. Run npm run demo after installing dependencies and building to explore without connecting real miners.
Scope and compatibility
Bitaxe Gamma 601 is the only maintainer-tested board so far. Other AxeOS-based models are unverified and require a compatible connection check. This dashboard monitors miners; firmware, pool configuration and hardware controls remain in AxeOS.
The application has no login. Keep it local or behind authenticated access that you manage. Publishing the source does not host your dashboard.
History retention defaults to 24 hours. Longer chart windows require collecting and retaining that history first.
Validation
Automated checks passed for the release commit, including formatting, type checks, tests, builds, dependency/security checks and Docker Compose smoke testing.
