Masque 0.9.10.17 — Preview (draft; not published)
Masque is now free to use without trial restrictions or a required licence key. Existing settings and legacy licence records remain intact.
This Preview also includes reliability fixes across show editing and playback:
- Corrected DMX coarse/fine fading, including System fine-channel values, and propagation of grouped channels when a target is missing.
- Corrected cue loop timing, disabled-cue skipping in both directions, repeated Stop Cue actions, and explicit Go through Design auto-continue chains.
- Improved Stop/Reset behavior, including held cued values during Stop fades and pending values during Reset All.
- Corrected undo/redo and saved-state boundaries, slider gesture history, cue insertion order, and configured-fixture history.
- Corrected media duplication and independent effect backing files; improved media replacement eligibility and infinite-action hit testing.
- Improved Inspector refresh and ownership after fixture changes, collection changes and media removal.
- Corrected Save As owner restoration, recovery after failed state loads, recent-show name parsing, CSV quote escaping, and saving effects in the current directory.
- Expanded automated regression coverage and isolated offline Canvas, Timeline and Viewport checks.
Distribution and verification
This Preview is unsigned by design. Windows may display Unknown Publisher or SmartScreen warnings. No certificate or trust changes are required by this release process.
The installer version advances to 0.9.11.0 so Windows Installer recognizes earlier 0.9.10.x versions as upgrade targets.
Release build, five compile checks, 508 domain tests and 100 offline UI tests passed. Installed launch, rendering, registration and basic interaction were verified. The full manual acceptance pass, OFL refresh and standalone updater download/restart validation are deferred for this Preview. Live show-control hardware was not exercised.
