GraphRAG Notes 0.1.0-rc.5

GraphRAG Notes 0.1.0-rc.5 improves graph alias retrieval and preserves complete portable embedding precision on embedded SurrealDB 3.2.4.

Compatible graph aliases use the existing association index with a fresh plan for each entity. This also fixes a valid later entity being omitted after another entity filled its mention page. Graph defaults, schema 21, models, concurrency and vector/keyword algorithms remain unchanged; official builds use the system allocator.

Validation: nine targeted native checks and the complete 204-test DB suite passed, along with six CI checks, exact-head Codex review, offline/live macOS workflows and local fresh/upgrade installation. All 400 corpus quality cases and 2,688 search calls succeeded with unchanged full results and pinned readbacks. All eight 13,450-row exports matched exactly, preserving F64/F32 embeddings and 1,629 terminal jobs.

Both traced and ordinary comparisons passed all 16 predeclared graph groups. Graph p95 measured 468–683 ms traced and 467–644 ms ordinary. Unchanged policies met their operating budgets. The separate whole-workload strict comparison passed 16/32 in each mode: no keyword/vector speedup is claimed, and #106/#115 remain open. All observations and earlier failures are retained. The qualification record is linked from PR #127.

Assets include the native Apple Silicon build (macOS 15+) and portable Python clients (Python 3.11+), with checksums and build/source identities. The measured binary SHA-256 is 3f79c6ed171f473242cdd683af88795c94b37b2c4786aaca122501096861447e; compiled source is e5464d685859b107ff75f92f7e432c3aafce05ab, final release source b82790bc547a9b03f9a51623b5a896ddee872372. Their entire Git trees match. Historical releases remain immutable.

Published HTTPS installation and deployment on Shiva have passed. Fam relocation follows the rehearsal and cutover gates in #118. SurrealDB 3.3 evaluation remains deferred in #120.

Post-publication verification: all seven assets downloaded over HTTPS match the sealed release files. The published tag installer matches its Git source. Fresh macOS installation and the same-schema rc.4 → rc.5 upgrade passed, including full canonical F64 and serving-F32 preservation, configuration/sample edits, matching client entrypoints and reinstall guards, untouched-store old-version recovery and a separate precision-capable portable restore. Early installation-helper permission/fictional-fixture assumptions were corrected; their failed evidence is retained. Fam rehearsal and cutover remain pending.

Production verification on Shiva has now passed with embedded SurrealDB 3.2.4 and schema 21. The native upgrade preserved the full canonical corpus, both vector representations and complete global job state; the original physical store and previous binary are retained for recovery. Normal authenticated Clawd access is restored. Published Linux portable client installation/upgrade passed, and the official matching rc.5 client bundle was installed without changing the normal OpenClaw configuration, plugin or refresh state.
