Release Notes / Changelog
Version 1.1.0 — Bulk Selection Support and "Next Reads" (TBR) Enhancements

This version brings a major workflow improvement by seamlessly integrating the TBR patch directly into KOReader Bookshelf’s native multi-selection menu.

Added: "Add selected to Next Reads" button (with automatic EN/PT localization) directly inside the native bulk-editing menu (Edit selected (N)).

Added: Full bulk-selection support for series, collections, or multiple books at once using selection:paths().

Optimized: Duplicate prevention during bulk additions — the system automatically checks if a book is already queued before inserting it, avoiding duplicate entries and reporting a clear summary (e.g., "2 book(s) added; 1 already queued").

Retained: Persistent JSON queue storage (bookshelf_next_queue.json), smooth grid rendering with automatic pagination in the dedicated tab, and automatic removal of completed books.

🎉 What's New in v1.0.0

This is the first stable release of All Highlights, a plugin for KOReader that provides a centralized interface to view and review highlights and personal notes across your entire library without needing to open each book individually.

✨ Features

  • Library-Wide Scanning: Automatically discovers .sdr metadata folders across your library storage paths and indexes books with saved annotations.
  • Unified Book Directory: Displays a clean list of all books containing highlights along with individual item counters.
  • Two-Level Highlight Browser:
    • Interactive List: Tap any book to inspect individual highlights, complete with page number, chapter context, timestamp, and notes.
    • Continuous Text View: Read all highlights from a book consecutively on a single scrollable text screen (great for study review or copying quotes).
  • Native Look & Feel: Built entirely with KOReader’s standard UI widgets (Menu, TextViewer, InfoMessage) to blend seamlessly with the stock e-reader interface.
  • Dynamic Language Detection: Automatically matches your KOReader UI language (English and Portuguese supported out of the box).
  • Dispatcher & Menu Integration: Registered in both the File Manager and Reader top menus, with full support for gestures and hardware key bindings via show_all_highlights.

📦 Installation

  1. Download the all_highlights.koplugin.zip asset below (or grab the source code).
  2. Extract the folder into your device's KOReader plugins directory:
    koreader/plugins/all_highlights.koplugin/

     Restart KOReader (Exit > Restart).

Tap Library Highlights (or Destaques da Biblioteca) in the top menu to view your notes.

💡 Tips

KOReader writes annotations to disk when a book is closed or switched. If you just created a highlight, exit the book to ensure the metadata is saved before launching the plugin.
