v4.0.0
After taking into account of feedback given to me personally from many users, I figured it was about time for our next upgrade.
Major Changes:
- Added multi-threading to fetch and write to file per batch.
- Upgraded to customtkinter v 5.2.1
- Added a new feature to fetch data from multiple indices by specifying wildcard (*)
- Accounted for a very rare edge case where a batch of data contains the same timestamps, causing it to loop infinitely.
- Changed JSON format to JSONL.
- Added new configuration for the user to specify the size of the batch per data fetch.
Minor Changes:
- GUI and CLI dependency separation
- GUI logic is no longer inside utils/request_sender.py
- Fixed the issue where the new popup window is not getting focused
- Fixed GUI progress bar not updating on the last batch
- Removed reference to GUISaveFetchedData
- Added docstrings so that people can make pull requests easier.
